Trusted Anesthesia Services in Central Ohio Since 1961
Physician-owned anesthesia care delivered by board-certified providers
We Built Our Organization Around Better Anesthesia Care

As a physician-owned anesthesia group serving central Ohio since 1961, Midwest Physician Anesthesia Services (MPAS) was built by anesthesiologists who understood how critical anesthesia is to every patient experience. From the beginning, our focus has been on delivering care with precision, safety, and professionalism.
Our team provides anesthesia for more than 62,000 procedures each year, supported by board-certified anesthesiologists and highly trained Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). Every provider is committed to clinical excellence, continuing education, and staying at the forefront of modern anesthesiology.
Unlike anesthesia groups built around volume alone, MPAS is built around accountability. Because we are physician-owned, our standards are driven by patient outcomes, professional integrity, and collaboration with the hospitals and surgical teams we serve.
We don’t simply administer anesthesia—we provide confidence, stability, and expertise in every case. That commitment has made MPAS a trusted anesthesia partner in central Ohio for more than 60 years.

The specialists behind Central Ohio’s most trusted anesthesia care.
Understanding Your Anesthesia Care Team
A board-certified anesthesiologist is a medical doctor who has completed specialized residency training in anesthesiology and passed comprehensive examinations through the American Board of Anesthesiology. Board certification reflects advanced expertise, ongoing education, and a commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and care.
A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is an advanced practice nurse with graduate-level training in anesthesia care who has earned certification by passing the National Certification Examination through the NBCRNA. CRNAs work closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to provide safe, effective anesthesia care before, during, and after procedures.
